Giving to Those in Need

St.Francis Church has been committed to financially supporting many of the charities and worthy causes in the island and abroad too for many years.

The church has made almost monthly donations of food and toiletries to the Order of Nuns in both Santiago del Teide and Vilaflor who support the more disadvantaged and elderly in those communities. Once a month we have a food collection in all of the churches in addition to the food we buy. Our charity shop in Los Gigantes also collects extra money to be spent on food stuffs and supplies blankets etc to be be given out to the needy.

Each Centre is so grateful for what we do for them, it is a pleasure to visit them and also see the valuable work they are doing in the community.
